Farm Fresh Whole Chickens

100% All Natural • Locally Raised • No Antibiotics • No Added Hormones

 

Pasture-raised, worm-eating, bug-scratching, non-GMO whole chickens. Our meat birds are raised how chickens are meant to live; outside, on grass, foraging for bugs, and rotated onto fresh pasture daily.

For 2023, our birds will be available starting mid-July through the fall (unless sold out). Our chickens only come packaged whole and frozen. Even though there has been a drastic increase in feed and chick costs again this year, we’re trying to keep prices low at $4.50/lb. Butchered weights are typically between 5.5-7.0 lbs; we aim for 6-6.5 lbs dressed.

If you want to be added to our production list, please let us know ASAP, as we have limited spots available in each batch of chicks, and spots fill quickly. To place your order, there is a $10 per bird non-refundable reservation fee, which will be applied to your order total. We cannot tell you an exact order total in advance, as we can’t guarantee final bird weights. Please let us know your preferred weight/size, and we will do our best to accommodate. Final invoices listing finished butcher weights will be emailed the week before pickup.

Our birds will also be available at our farm stand this summer, until sold out. Prices will be the same, at $4.50/lb.

Fresh Whole Quail

100% All Natural • Locally Raised • No Antibiotics • No Added Hormones

Beginning summer 2023, we will be offering whole quail too! Quail are small, flavorful birds best known for their rich eggs. Despite their short stature, quail meat has a relatively strong flavor, comparable to duck meat. They are a favorite among restaurant chefs for their quick cook time and distinctive taste. These birds are perfect for individual servings, and are easy to bake, broil, smoke or grill. 

 

Our quail will only come packaged whole, and frozen. Butchered weights are typically around 8-10 ounces each.
